76 proposals for the city

The first edition of the Radically Adolescent Community Fund, an initiative promoted by the City of Bologna and the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation to finance the ideas of girls and boys between 14 and 20 years old, has received strong enthusiasm: 76 ideas came from multiple fields.

The Fund, designed to give voice and space to the creativity of young Bolognese people, shows a clear fact: the average age of the proposing groups is around 17 years, a clear sign of the vitality and transformative potential that Bolognese youth bring with them.

The valid proposals are distributed as follows in the city: 10 are addressed to the entire city, 4 to Borgo Panigale - Reno, 7 for San Donato - San Vitale, 11 for Navile, 5 for Porto - Zaragoza, 4 for Santo Stefano and Savena.

The collected proposals highlight an extraordinary variety of interests and creativity with proposals around street culture, from music to urban dance, often in contamination with proposals concerning sport.

Just as the proposals dedicated to leisure and sociality stand out to promote safe and inclusive aggregation, promoting sustainable lifestyles.

The Community Fund represents the first piece of the Radically Adolescents strategy, a path aimed at creating a youth representation for Bologna capable of encouraging the leadership of the boys and girls of the City.

In the coming weeks, the evaluation committee will carefully examine all the ideas received, and we will communicate the results of the selection on our channels.

The winning initiatives will access the “from idea to project” training course starting in April 2025.
