External data controller
For sending the monthly newsletter Bologna Zerodiciotto, the Education, Instruction and New Generations Area of the Municipality of Bologna uses Brevo (ex Sendinblue). Personal data collected on a voluntary basis (name, surname and email address) are collected by the Brevo company for the sole purpose of sending emails and will be stored on the company's servers until the subscription to the newsletter service continues.
The Brevo company (formerly Sendinblue) SAS (registered with the Paris Companies Register under number 498 019 298 and whose registered office is located at 55 rue d’Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France) has been appointed external data controller for the newsletter.
Purpose of processing personal data
The processing of your personal data is carried out by the Municipality of Bologna for the performance of institutional functions and, therefore, pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 letter e) does not require your consent.
The Municipality of Bologna will process the personal data provided using them for the purposes set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in particular for the performance of tasks of public interest or connected to the exercise of public powers with which it is invested based on the law, Statute and municipal regulations, including the purposes of archiving, historical research and analysis for statistical purposes.
Methods of processing personal data
The Municipality of Bologna processes the personal data provided with electronic and/or paper tools using, also, automated tools to store, manage and transmit the data themselves, in compliance with measures that guarantee security and confidentiality, as well as in compliance with the principle of minimization and correctness.
Persons authorized to process personal data
The data are processed by the organizational structure competent for the subject matter, its collaborators in charge or external persons expressly appointed as joint controllers or data processors.
Data controllers
The entity may use third parties to carry out activities and related processing of personal data owned by the entity. In accordance with the provisions of the law, these entities ensure levels of experience, ability and reliability that guarantee compliance with the provisions in force regarding processing, including the data security profile.
The entity formalizes instructions, tasks and obligations for these third parties with the designation of the same as "Data controllers".
Communication and dissemination of personal data
Your personal data, if necessary, may be communicated to natural and/or legal persons, public and/or private, entities or associations, when communication is necessary or functional to the performance of the activity of the Municipality of Bologna, with the methods and for the purposes provided for by provisions of laws or regulations.
Your personal data will not be disseminated under any circumstances, except for legal obligations.
Period of retention of personal data
Your data is retained for a period no longer than that necessary for the pursuit of the purposes mentioned above. To this end, the strict relevance, non-excess and indispensability of the data with respect to the relationship, service or assignment in progress, to be established or terminated, is constantly verified, also with reference to the data that you provide on your own initiative. The data that, even following the checks, are found to be excessive or irrelevant or not indispensable are not used, except for the possible conservation, in accordance with the law, of the deed or document that contains them. After the conclusion of the procedure, or the provision of the service, they will be stored in accordance with the rules established for the conservation of administrative documentation.
Transfer of personal data to non-EU countries
Your personal data is not transferred outside the European Union.

The provision of your data is optional, but necessary for the pursuit of the purposes indicated above. Failure to provide them will jeopardize the correct carrying out of the investigation, the procedural obligations or the provision of the service.

This information is provided by the Education, Instruction and New Generations Area and provides users of the site with some information relating to the cookies used, pursuant to articles. 13 and 122 of the Code regarding the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree 06.30.2003, n. 196, “Privacy Code”), as well as in accordance with the provisions of the General Provision of the Privacy Guarantor of 8 May 2014.
1. About cookies

3. Treatment methods
The processing is carried out with automated tools by the Data Controller. No dissemination or communication is carried out.
4. Provision of data
With the exception of technical cookies strictly necessary for normal navigation, the provision of data is left to the will of the interested party who decides to browse the site after having read the brief information contained in the appropriate banner and to use the services that involve the installation of cookies. The interested party can therefore avoid the installation of cookies through the appropriate functions available on their browser.
5. Disabling cookies
Without prejudice to the above regarding cookies strictly necessary for navigation, the user can delete other cookies via their browser.
