Data processing

The Brevo platform (formerly Sendinblue) is used to send the newsletter.

The personal data collected on a voluntary basis (mailbox and first and last name, if any) are stored by the company Brevo for the sole purpose of sending emails from the Education Area and only for as long as the subscription to the newsletter service continues.

The company Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) SAS (registered with the Paris Commercial Register under number 498 019 298 and whose registered office is located at 55 rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France) has been appointed as the external data controller for the newsletter.

Rights of the data subject

Users have the right to request from the Municipality of Bologna the rectification or deletion of their email address, the restriction of related processing or to object to processing (Art. 15 ff. EU Regulation 2016/679). The request is made by contacting by email the organisational structure that processes the data.

In the event of violations, users have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, without prejudice to the right to appeal to the judicial authorities.
