Until March 31, girls and boys can send their stories to participate in the second edition of the competition.

There is time until March 31 to submit your story and participate in the second edition of the Prix Clara Italia, the literary competition dedicated to girls and boys between 13 and 18 years old founded in France in 2006 and brought to Italy by the Marietti1820 publishing house.

The award invites young people to tell their stories and to share their point of view on the world, creating a short story (from 7,500 to 30,000 characters, including spaces) with a free theme. Give value to the thoughts of adolescents, leaving room for imagination, and encourage writing as a tool for self-expression, in a world that increasingly needs to know the voices of future generations.

The participants' works will be examined by an exceptional jury, chaired by Alberto Melloni and composed of Eraldo Affinati, Luigi Aliprandi, Camilla Antonini, Roberto Cescon, Teresa Ciabatti, Beppe Cottafavi, Giuliano da Empoli, Roberta Fantinato, Gianluca Montaldi, Federica Meloni, Stefano Montefiori, Valeria Parrella, Carla Rinaldi, Bernard Spitz, Sophie Stallini, Anna Segre, Carola Susani, Bianca Tarantelli, Chiara Valerio, Paolo Valesio and Sandro Veronesi.

The jury will select the winning stories and will award the Prix Clara Italia in the autumn of 2025 at a gala evening organized by the publishing house.

The winners' stories will be published by Marietti1820 and the proceeds from sponsorships and book sales will be donated by the Prix Clara Italia Association, the organizing body of the award, to the pediatric cardiology departments and research networks of the Sant'Orsola hospitals in Bologna and Bambino Gesù in Rome.

To compete for the Prix Clara Italia 2024, you must be between 13 (completed on January 1, 2024) and 18 (turned on December 31, 2024); write a short story with a free topic in Italian, from 5 to 20 pages (from 7,500 to 30,000 characters, including spaces); send it by post or by e-mail by March 31, 2025.

The story must be accompanied by the author's personal data, a dated and signed statement certifying that he wrote the text without the help of third parties and an authorization to participate signed by a parent or legal guardian.
